Rest and injections reduce symptoms but do not improve load tolerance
Isolated quad or glute exercises ignore how you actually move
Stretching changes sensation without changing joint loading
Pain returns with activity because the loading pattern stays the same
Have had knee pain for 3+ months
Were told they have patellar pain, meniscus issues, or “wear and tear”
Tried physical therapy, rest, or injections without lasting relief
Feel pain with stairs, squatting, running, or getting up from a chair
Are frustrated because imaging doesn’t match how much it hurts
How you walk, squat, run, and change direction
How load is accepted and transferred through the knee
Where you compensate when speed, depth, or fatigue increases
Whether the knee is overloaded because other joints under-contribute
How current activity demands compare to true capacity
Most physical therapy focuses on isolated strengthening or pain relief. That can improve symptoms without changing how load moves through your system. When activity increases, the knee absorbs the same stress again.
The knee is where pain is felt, not always where the problem starts. Poor force control from the foot, hip, or trunk shifts excess load to the knee.
Stopping activity reduces pain but reduces tolerance. The goal is to rebuild capacity so the knee can handle load without recurring symptoms.
We assess how your entire movement system manages load during real tasks. Care is based on your specific movement strategy, not a generic knee protocol.
