Standard programs focus on isolated stretches or strengthening, ignoring the full kinetic chain
They miss how foot, ankle, hip, and core interact during running
Symptoms return when mileage, pace, or terrain increases because underlying movement patterns remain faulty
Treating only the painful site does not restore tolerance for running stresses
Have had running-related pain for 3 months or longer
Have tried rest, stretching, or traditional physical therapy without lasting relief
Notice pain during running, hopping, or sudden direction changes
Feel frustration from recurring flare-ups despite following prior care instructions
Experience limitations that prevent them from training or racing at prior levels
Foot strike and ankle mobility
Hip and trunk strength and coordination
Compensatory patterns that offload or overload tissues
Running mechanics under progressive load
Response to changes in distance, speed, and terrain
Most programs focus only on the injured area. If the foot, ankle, hip, or trunk is not properly distributing forces, the same tissues are repeatedly stressed. Effective care requires evaluating the full running system.
Pain is rarely isolated to the site of discomfort. Running injuries often originate from compensation patterns elsewhere, such as the hips or feet. Addressing these sources is necessary for lasting relief.
Stopping running completely is rarely required. Progressive load adjustments retrain the system to handle running stress safely. The goal is restoring capacity, not eliminating activity.
We evaluate the entire kinetic chain while observing running mechanics. We identify compensatory patterns and correct them under functional load. This approach reduces recurrence and restores full running tolerance.
